When my daughter, who, like her mother, loves all things pink, announced she was going to law school after graduation from Auburn, we decided against a post graduation party in lieu of a Legally Blonde-themed, “off to law school” party. This was such a fun party to plan. The decor was as “girlie” as we could possibly make it. Party invitations were pink “Snap Cups”, the main table was draped in hot pink sequined fabric, and an all pink dessert buffet was served in the foyer. Quotes from the movie were displayed in magenta frames and placed inside as well as outside where guests sat. A signature pink watermelon martini was the drink du jour. All guests dressed in pink, and a summer-y, light menu was served poolside. Napkins and snack dishes were embosed/arranged in an WWEWD pattern; which, of course stands for “What would Elle Woods Do?” What a fun day!
